Very frequently when you download Drupal, you repeatedly have to go back to the Drupal website to look for modules that you need. If you setup sites based on Drupal, the following modules list (in no particular order) will be a reminder for you to download. (This list is compiled for Drupal 6)

Login to your facebook account. Input this URL on the address bar - http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account and follow instructions. Once done, you can go back within 14 days to cancel the deletion if you change your mind.
Short story: If you get "service unavailable" error when trying to access a page hosted on IIS 6.0, login to the server on which IIS is running, open the command line and type in "iisreset " without quotes. That should bring the webpages back.
It is a known fact that when you login to your ftp account using Filezilla a popular open source ftp client, it saves the login and password of the last few entries. If you are like me who uses the client occasionally and tends to forget the password, you will not be out of luck. Filezilla saves password and login information in plain text.

I have always used Google Custom Search to search my websites. Yesterday though, I felt I wanted to test Drupal Search Box. Thinking it would be very obvious, I enabled the search module in "admin/build/modules/list" and configured it in "/admin/settings/search". Confident I had configured the module properly, I tested the search box but nothing came out. A quick Google Search said that I needed to fix user permissions. I then went to "admin/user/permissions" and gave permission to anonymous and authenticated users.

Now that you have a Twitter account, you must have followed a lot of people but might be finding it difficult to add your own followers once your email contact list depletes. How do you then proceed about increasing followers on your Twitter account? The simple answer - start talking!
If you want to tell the world of your site, Twitter I have recently found is the most effective way. Additionally, you get a quick reponse too. A few tweets a day with a thought provoking line followed by a few replies to fellow twitters is all that is required to get you going. (I feel that tweeting a lot in a single day is going to lessen your charm.) This I tell you from my personal experience. So download this e-book called, "A True Beginner's Guide to Getting the Most Out of Twitter" and get going.

When I first started getting bots registering on my experimental phpBB board, I was overjoyed! I thought I was making my presence felt on the net. Pretty soon though, I was tired of weeding out the bots and began to search for a solution. I did not want extensive modifications to the board and I did not want to mess up too much either. So my search came up with a wonderfully effective solution - Advanced Visual Anti Bot.

I happened to bump into webenabled.com which allows you to install your choice of CMS without uploading the setup files and in very little time. The best part however, is they have a free trial plan. For those who want to try out Drupal, Acquia and other CMS, this is a great site. For developers, it gives a quick and easy platform to test out their work. During my own trial, I found it to be impressive, except that WordPress would not run because of some database error.
This blog will be a window to my brainwaves. I shall be talking about Linux, Drupal, Technology in general and of course, my dreams. The blog will not be specific and it shall more be like a diary. Hope you will like it. Welcome to Regmi's blog.
