Filezilla password file location
It is a known fact that when you login to your ftp account using Filezilla a popular open source ftp client, it saves the login and password of the last few entries. If you are like me who uses the client occasionally and tends to forget the password, you will not be out of luck. Filezilla saves password and login information in plain text. If you are using Windows, the files will be under the "Application Data" folder inside your "Documents and Settings" folder (you might have to enable "Show hidden files and folders" option before you can see "Application Data" folder) under the root directory (the directory where Windows is installed). The files to look for are "recentservers.xml" and "filezilla.xml".
